Hi, my name is Natalie and I am originally from Sweden, but live in Chamonix since many years. I stayed here because I fell in love with this beautiful valley and the people. In my free time trail run, mountain bike, hike, surf and ski, music and dancing, as well as research neuroscience, nutrition, psychology and human behaviour. Unfortunately I never had the chance to have any kids of my own, but I love kids, and normally they really like me too. I think this is mostly due to the fact that I love to play, my kind, caring and loving nature. My sister's and friend's kids would definitely approve! Hence why I joined alpine child care, to help families that come to enjoy this magnificent place, as well as get to care for children. Even if I am a calm person and handle stressful situations really well, I am also quite over protective when it comes to kids as I don't want anything to happen to them. Whether its not running around the house whilst eating or getting too close to a possibly dangerous situation. I simply just love kids, even if they aren’t mine!

My previous studies are within finance for 3 years, graphic design for 2 years as well as a painter/decorator diploma. Though for 9 years I ran an extreme skiing business with my partner, travelling the world. When I moved to Chamonix full time, I started to work in construction where I worked myself from the bottom to the top and became a site project manager, and finally a personal assistant and property manager to a high end client. I made a conscious choice to leave that position to work independently, and started my own business within cleaning and managing properties here in the Chamonix Valley. This allows me to manage my own time and enjoy life to the fullest.

My previous experience with children; infants as well as toddlers and older children, is that I used to be a nanny in my younger years when I lived in USA. But also from minding children here in Chamonix, whether it was for clients or friends. And of course looking after my dear nieces and nephews.
