I have always been fond of caring for children, perhaps due to being an only child, I thrive in being in the company of others, as well as being content in my own company when time permits.

During and since graduating, I have gained invaluable experience working with all age ranges of children, specifically 8 weeks to 12 years. For 3 winters I have worked in the French ski resort of Alpe D'Huez as a ski nanny, so know the resort very well. The jobs I took allowed me to be responsible for providing a first class childcare service to my clients as well as planning and delivering activities that were inviting and stimulating for each child. I loved being a nanny in this resort which is why I have returned again this winter. I have been trusted with the sole-care of up to 10 children at a time, under the age of four. I have also had the opportunity to work with babies aged 8 weeks upwards on a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio and have been responsible for researching and planning exciting and fun activities suitable for these age ranges. It is important for me to invest time and effort into the preparation of these tasks which is rewarded by learning outcomes, and the knowledge that I have provided a great service.

• It is not an understatement to say that Victoria really made our Ski holiday. Our 2 and a half year old son took to Victoria straight away. They sledged, the swam and they played constantly for the ten days we were in France, leaving us time to really enjoy skiing. Victoria also brought Jack up the slopes to meet us for lunch and was always in contact to tell us what they were up to. • 15 May 2018 To whom it may concern, Regarding - Victoria Collins I would like to confirm that Vicky worked for us from September 2016 until March 2017 as a nanny to our young boys 5yrs and 8yrs old. Vicky was always punctual, well presented, happy and always displayed a maturity beyond her age. Her full time role caring for the boys involved taking them to activities, managing homework, play dates, grocery shopping, meal preparations & other household tasks. She was brilliant with my boys and they loved her from day one. She was extremely attentive and kind towards them. She was very fair and when necessary also firm, she gained quick respect from them and us as parents. She has a lovely, caring nature which you can’t fake in childcare. She genuinely cares for children and people who she is working with. She cared for the welfare of the entire family & we loved having her in our lives as she always enhanced our day and lifted us all when she was around. She is very pro-active and takes everything in her stride. We also appreciated that she got on with everyone no matter who they were. She always read situations well & acted accordingly. She is also very healthy and active. I highly recommend Vicky for any future employment. She is confident and would be an asset in any company or situation. • Victoria immediately engaged with our 3 and 6 year old and both of them said they really liked Victoria. She picked them up from ski school every day, gave them lunch and then played with them in the afternoon - in the chalet, sledging, or going on an adventure further afield - depending on how the kids were feeling. Victoria's communication was excellent - and she really made us feel at ease;- that she knew what she was doing and that our children were in safe but fun hands. We would definitely recommend her.
