I have been living in France for the last 10 years now. I adore living in the mountains as there is so much to do! I adore outdoor activities, especially skiing during the winter! I have been working with children for the last 7 years and I absolutely love it! I love manual activities and playing outside. I provide games and everything we need to do manual activities together (for example, cooking ingredients). I adapt to each family I work with, making sure that everyone is happy with their week and the organisation of it all. It is important to me that everyone enjoys their holiday as much as possible!

BAFA - french childcare qualification. Basic first aid course achieved whilst I worked in Britain and also when I passed my BAFA course. We would do a 'refresher' before every winter season when I worked in the Kid's Club. TEFL - I have been teaching English to French people in the area for the last three years. I am bilingual in English and French.

I worked in the Cariboo's Club in Arc 1950 for 3 years, two of those as assitant manager. The Cariboo's Club is divided into two parts: the creche for children from 9 months to 3 years old (we were allowed to have children as young as three months), and the Club which is for children from 3 years to 13 years old. I worked in both parts of the kid's club over the three years. In the kid's club, the maximum amout of children I have looked after by myself was 12. Since my time in Cariboo's Club, I have worked as a private nanny during the winter school holiday periods for people who visit the area on holiday. This will be my four winter working as a nanny. I have looked after babies as young as 6 months old up to children aged 14 years old. The maximum amount of children I have looked after as a nanny was five children (aged between three and 8 years old). I always keep a track of the days activities, nap times, what the child has eaten, how they have been, etc. I keep a copy for myself and give a copy to the parents. It means that I have a record of the activities we have done and I can propose other activities for us to do the following time. It also means that parents with young babies/children can still keep an eye on their childs habits and make sure that there isn't a problem. Below is a list of some of the children I have looked after as a nanny, their ages and the period of time: - Ella 16 months, Phoebe 2 years 11 months, Blair 1 year 9 months - I looked after these three children at the same time for 6 full days. - Molly 5, Archie 3, Darshan 7, Anees 3 - I looked after all four children at the same time for 6 full days. - Mason 2, Griffin 7, Darius 5 - I have looked after Griffin and Darius for the last 3 years and Mason for two years. I usually look after them for 6 full days each time. - Ethan 4, Thomas 11 months - I looked after the two boys for 6 half days. - Elena 14, George 12, Henry 10, William 7 - I have know these children for the last 7 years. I first looked after them when I worked in the Cariboo Club, and I have looked after them every year since I started working as a Nanny. In have looked after many more children in the last 3 years. I often look after the same children year after year, which is fantastic for me and them, as there is a real bond between us and I get to see them grow!

• We have a very shy 3 year old daughter who doesn't respond well to strangers, so we were initially slightly worried about hiring a nanny for our skiing holiday. However, we needn't have worried, she bonded with Kat within minutes. Kat had asked us about our daughter's interests before the holiday and arrived with toys and colouring sheets that related to her interests. She collected our daughter from ski school each day and did different activities each afternoon. We were able to relax and enjoy our skiing knowing that our daughter was in safe hands and having lots of fun. We arrived back to the chalet in the afternoons to hear lots of giggling. • We were so impressed by Kat, even before we met her in person. She sent us several emails asking about Arky and what his interests were, and she arrived extra early on the first day so as to chat through his routine and avoid eating into our booked time. Kat brought her own set of lovely toys and a sledge suitable for his age. We had never had a nanny before and Arky had not been in crèche. So we were really reassured by Kats extensive experience looking after children his age. • It is hard to say how great Kath was. I think it is important to make a quick summary of our background, we were 2 portuguese couples with 1 kid and 1 baby each. The babies were 9 and 10 months and they were never in a creche. So we were very anxious about getting a nanny for our babies in a place we didn't know anyone. We found this service and Kath answer us, she kindly agreed to a skype call before we went, and since the first moment, we liked Kath, she was very friendly, helpful and put the anxiety of two mums on ease. Kath arrived always on time and she was never rushing to leave, she was even entertaining the older ones when we arrived from the ski and we were with the babies. Kath is very natural with the kids, the little ones settled very quickly, it was a peace of mind for us. My little one got sick and Kath was so helpful about where to go (we were completely lost as we didn't know what would be the best clinic, pharmacy..etc).
