I mainly worked with young kids (ages from 6 to 10), but I also worked with older (up to 15 years old). Besides teaching sports I worked in an aftercare program in our elementary school, where we did lots of arts and crafts. Before I started working in school, I went to the United States (Minneapolis) to babysit 4 girls: triplets aged 1 and Audrey who was 5. It was a unique and fun experience! I lived with the family for two years. We have kept in touch and I visited them many times later in life. I don't have children of my own but I do have two nieces who are now 10 and 16 years old and a nephew who is 3. I love spending time with them.

  • Eva started working in our elementary school (OŠ Šmartno pod Šmarno goro) 15 years ago. Apart from teaching sports, she also worked in our aftercare program, where she organised creative workshops and helped children with their homework. Eva is highly committed to her work. She is reliable, well organised and she works hard to ensure children’s progress. She has always forged excellent relationships with children and they were extremely fond of her. She is very good at leading groups while being firm, fair and always ready to listen and help them solve their problems. She has a real talent for creating enthusiastic learning environment for children. Apart from working with children Eva was always willing to organise and participate in different events. She organised our Christmas market and many 5-days sport camps (for swimming and skiing). As a colleague, Eva is easy to work with, very flexible, open minded, hardworking, full of ideas and has lots of positive energy. Eva is fluent in English and she reacts quickly and rationally in unpredictable situations. She will undoubtedly make sure children in her care will feel safe and make the best out of their holidays.
  • I have know Eva for many years and she has been taking care of my 2 children, Taja (10) and Tine (5) on many occasions. I can rely on her anytime and my kids are just begging me to call her for babysitting. She's fun to be around, knows lots of different games, does sports with them and just knows how to handle them. She is very reliable and I feel my kids are 100% safe with her. I would for sure recommend her for a nanny.
  • I cannot write a recommendation  that would do Eva justice. She nannied for my family of four girls (one set of triplets) for two years and became a part of our family. The girls loved her and while now grown, remember her as such. With the girls, she was loving, creative, playful and above all, patient. She got them outdoors and introduced them to all kinds of activities that I, as a working mom, was not able to do. She taught them some of her native language and always had them laughing. She has since spent many years teaching children and, without a doubt, has procured many other skills. My children always ran to her with love and open arms and that was all I needed to see. Any family would be lucky to have. 19 years later, I still call her my friend.   • Eva was great on communication before we arrived in resort - answering queries on email quickly, and it was really comforting having someone who was pro-active and friendly from the offset. We arranged with Eva to come and meet the children briefly on the day we arrived in resort which was really helpful for us and the children. Eva collected our children from ski school each day. There were 4 children aged between 5 and 8. Eva took them to the ski shop to change into their snow boots and drop off their skis, and then walked them back to the apartment - which was about 5 minutes walk away. Eva then prepared lunch at the apartment for all 4 children and played games with them. We then either met Eva at the apartment later in the afternoon, or Eva got the children ready for skiing and met us back at the ski shop so we could ski with the children in the afternoon. The children warmed really quickly to Eva. We had 2 children in the group who can be shy and anxious, but they had no problems being with Eva and they really enjoyed her company. We were met in the afternoon with happy children, and Eva was always calm and patient with them. We found Eva to be very responsive, reliable and flexible in terms of where we wanted to meet each afternoon. She also chatted to the ski school instructors and gave us any feedback from the lessons which we appreciated.   • Absolutely fantastic. Eva our Nanny truly exceeded our expectations. Eva, was absolutely wonderful and spoke fantastic English. She was clearly experienced and enjoyed engaging with our baby. He was so happy to be left with her and always had such a happy smiley baby when we came back to the chalet from skiing . He had never been left with anyone before except family & close friends so having Eva was wonderful as she filled us with so much confidence and put us at ease. Eva also sorted Noah’s lunch for us every day, and took Noah out for walks to enjoy the fresh air , have a morning nap in the pram and take him on the carousel in Morzine which he loved . We always received messages throughout the day with a little update or cute photo which was really lovely. Eva coordinated always ahead of time with us via WhatsApp our preferred method, was very flexible & was always prompt. She came prepared with games and fun ideas, engaged so well with our son Noah who was only 18 months old. Eva was flexible as circumstances changed and put us at ease with her competence with the Noah & our older kids. Eva baby sat for all the kids one night and they all loved her. We are so grateful for the excellent service we received. Thank you for making this happen Eva and allowing us to have the most wonderful skiing holiday.
