Intro
Hello!
I'm Laura, a Colombian with a passion for the mountains and a love for children. I've traded my digital marketing desk for the breathtaking Alps.
While I'm excited to explore the peaks and valleys, I'm equally excited to care for your little ones. I believe that children are natural teachers, and I’m eager to learn and grow alongside them.
When you entrust your children to me, you can rest assured that they'll be safe, happy, and engaged in fun, age-appropriate activities. Whether it's a gentle hike, a playful game, or a cozy story time, I'll create a memorable experience for them.
I'm confident in my ability to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment. Let's make the most of your time in the Alps together!"
Qualifications
Before embarking on my Au Pair journey, I gained valuable experience volunteering at a kindergarten, where I cared for up to 10 children at once. One of my most rewarding experiences was looking after a 2-year-old toddler and a 3-month-old baby. We formed a special bond over two years, and I'm delighted that we still keep in touch today.
As an Au Pair, I embraced a wide range of responsibilities, as the parents trusted me with significant autonomy. My duties included:
Childcare: Providing daily care, including feeding, bathing, and naptime routines.
Meal Planning: Creating nutritious and delicious meals tailored to the children's dietary needs and preferences.
Household Management: Keeping the children's living spaces clean and organized.
Laundry: Handling the children's laundry efficiently.
Activity Planning: Organizing stimulating activities, both indoors and outdoors, to foster their development.
Transportation: Safely transporting the children to various activities and appointments.
Socialization: Encouraging social interaction and positive relationships with other children.
By combining my passion for child care with my organizational skills, I strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
