Friendly, professional, outdoorsy and creative, I love getting kids outside and exploring their creativity.
My background in both private nannying for families here in the French Alps, as well as teaching English across Asia, Europe and the Caribbean means I bring long term and varied experience working closely with children, including pastoral care and proxy parenting.
Having studied French, Spanish, German and Portuguese at university, I enjoy bilingual play and watching a child's mind absorb vocabulary like a sponge.

Background
Experience history
My experience dates back to 2004, over 20 years ago, as a nanny for a family with three children in rural Brittany.
After University, I taught kindergarten in South Korea for a year.
This was the first of many positions teaching children English, both at school as well as at residential and non-residential camps, in Spain, Russia, Guadeloupe, China, Ukraine, Japan, etc.
On moving to the French Alps, nannying became a natural focus. Here I've worked with several families, ranging from twin babies all the way up to 18 year olds (with three younger siblings). This care ranged from daytime to evenings to sometimes extended periods of proxy parenting if one/both parents were away. As of last winter, I've worked with tourists' children for short term day nannying and babysitting. I always like to get the children out and about and enjoying their surroundings whenever the weather allows.
