Intro
My creativity and passion for children, and my commitment to each and every child, allow me to create a stimulating, fun environment for children in my care. Further, by embedding routines into practice and having high expectations of the children, I am able to cultivate a calm, purposeful environment, and to manage behaviour very effectively. This has been aided by my extensive knowledge of early childhood development, from both my Psychology degree at Loughborough University and engaging with CPD training.
In my current teaching role, I like to focus on learning through play and interaction with the natural world in our forest school and while I absolutely love teaching, I would now like to re-visit working with children in a nannying capacity. I love to play, organise games and get creative with children. Tailoring experiences and activities to the children's development and interest is an aspect which I particularly enjoy. In addition, I am very sporty and love to be outdoors. My absolute passion is skiing and I have been fortunate enough to have skied in and around the Portes Du Soleil (where my parents live) since I was just 3 years old. To care for children whilst spending time in this resort is a real dream of mine and I look forward to having this opportunity.
