Hi my name is Zach Bancroft. I moved to Morzine from London in December 2020 and have been here since. Until now I have had jobs in sales, construction, bartending and occasionally but during March and May I have been nannying for families in Morzine. I grew up watching and loving Disney movies and I am not ashamed to say I still hold those movies dear to my heart. The stories they tell and lessons they teach have become an integral part of the man I am today. I love doing things most men my age wouldn't, puzzles and board games are a brilliant way to pass the time and get the brain working. Getting up and being active, taking walks around Morzine so that I am getting a decent amount of exercise and fresh air each day. I have been told throughout my life how good I am with children, I love being with children, bringing fun and laughter as well as a zest for learning.

I studied Performing arts in school and college and went on to study digital arts at University, graduating with a 2:1 Bachelors of Arts. My mother has worked in a primary school as a learning assistant to children 3 & up and has been sure to teach my sisters and I all the first aid training she has learned along the way. As the oldest of 7 siblings I was given the responsibility of child care starting at a very young age & leading on to my adult life.

Throughout my life babies and young children have been around in abundance. As the eldest of my siblings I have been taking care of children for many years. My youngest sibling was born when I was 18, babysitting/child minding has always come very natural to me. My Grandma and Auntie, whom I am very close with have been Foster parents for as long as I can remember, taking on new borns and occasionally abandoned children (ages 0-6) until the time they are adopted, over the years I grew close with several of the young children in their care and took time to get to know each one and the households they come from. Neighbours I grew up with knew me and would ask me to babysit their children after school, they were 5 & 8 and we grew a great bond over the years until I left for university. I also attended a christening a few years ago where I became the Godfather to a beautiful little boy who I care deeply for. He has just turned 8 and is doing wonderfully at school and extra curricular activities. Young children have always been a big part of my life, I have developed a childlike love for life after spending so much time with smaller humans :)

• Zach in general is a very caring person, he is the second eldest of 7 siblings and he’s adored by all of them. I’d have no hesitation in recommending him to work with children. He’s a very clean and hygienic person and likes things to be in order. He also loves to cook.<

• Zach took care of our 3 year old daughter for 5 days. The most important criteria for us is that she is happy and she really was with Zach. She was excited to see him every morning and would even ask us to leave so she and Zach could have fun! He was accommodating when we were a bit late having gotten slightly lost on the slopes. He is young and perhaps less experienced than other nannies so may need a bit of guidance, but would be happy to recommend him to other parents who want to enjoy the slopes knowing their kid is happily taken care of.
