Hi! My name is Gabriela, a chilean woman that in 2023 decides to take a little break from the healthcare work. I speak very good english, basic french (still studying) and Spanish is my native language. Im here in France with a working holiday visa and working at the Grandes Rousses Hotel in Alpe D'Huez as a femme de chambre (soir service). I love sports and outdoor activities! I played basketball since i was 6 until i finished college. I can play instruments and i can read stories for them :) Im looking to do some extra money before my return to Chile to hopefully validate my degree in Germany at the end of the year! Im a 28 years old Chilean woman, physiotherapist as a profession (in Chile we study 5 years so its a professional career). I worked in a public hospital during the pandemic, in the emergency room and in the ICU. I have the ACLS completed (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and have had rotations in pediatrics hospitals in my formation.

I lived in Chamonix during July and November 2023 and I did babysitting for 2 little sisters of 3 and 6 years. Although I am not a professional nanny I love being with kids and looking after them. I have been working for years in a pediatric ICU and it gave me a lot of tools if we speak about safety with children.

• Gabriela looked after my 2 little girls (3 and 2 years old) in Chamonix, for two days in the afternoon. She was very punctual and very sweet, my kids loved her! They played together and even created songs. It was only for 2 days but the girls were very sad when we told them they were not going to see her again. Very good english, so no problem with that. • Gabriella looked after our daughter ( aged 2 ) for 6 mornings whilst we were on holiday in Alpe D’Huez. I’ll be honest, having never used a nanny previously as she is our first child, I was very apprehensive. However, from the first moment we met Gabriella we got such a lovely vibe from her. She is very friendly and sweet. My daughter loved her and took to her immediately. She played with her everyday taking her to the park, playing in the snow and colouring and drawing. She also sent me updates and photos showing me what they were up whilst we were out skiing. This was really reassuring. My daughter was excited each day before she saw Gabriella. If she is ever nannying again in the future we wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.
