Intro

My name is Jennifer and I am Australian, I live in sunny Brisbane , Queensland. I have two children who are studying Teaching and Vet Nursing. I have loved the opportunity i had to be so involved with their schooling life and to of shared in so much fun and created fantastic memories. My hobbies include swimming laps, jet sking, surfing, horseriding, bush walking and spending time with family and friends. My partner Jean-Marc is french and we spent 13 months in France recently travelling, spending time with family. We worked the last winter season for 5 months at Meribel where JM was an Executive Chef at the Altitude Restaurant 'Plan Des Mains'. We will be returning again this season and I would love the opportunity to look after children while we are there. I am very patient, kind and caring with good boundaries and have great insight into childrens unique personalities while providing a safe environment at all times.

Qualifications

I have two children and have been very actively involved in their schooling, both in the classroom and also through sport. I was Class Rep for many years organising Parent get togethers and assisting the school in Fund Raising Activities. I was involved in Swimming Coaching and was on the Parent Committee for the School Running Team.

Jenny has worked on a temporary contract with the Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS), Metro South Hospital and Health Service from November 2016 until May 2017. Jenny returned to the OPMHS following a year overseas and has worked from July 15 2019 and is currently employed on a temporary contract with our team. Jenny is a registered Nurse and has worked as a Clinical Nurse with our service. Jenny has qualifications in General Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing. Jenny has performed her role in a very conscientious and professional manner. She is very organised with her work and keeps up to date with the tasks required of her. Jenny has excellent interpersonal skills displaying empathy and an ability to communicate with people of varying ages. Jenny has kept up to date with her Basic Life Support training (CPR). On a personal level, Jenny is the mother of two adult girls. She has recently spent a year in France where she has immersed herself in French culture and language. She tells me she has been able to acquire a level of proficiency in the French language and is eager to continue to develop this competency further.
