Intro

I am 38 years old, I'm Italian and I spent the last 17years of my life travelling. I love sports in general, but I'm mostly dedicated to skiing and climbing. I've had different jobs throughout my life as I like new challenges and experiences. While travelling, I mainly worked in hospitality. Currently I study nursing at University as well as I work as a rope access technician in France to finance my studies. The reason why I decided to work in child care this winter is because I love kids and I get very much satisfaction from working with them. I also want to enjoy winter in the mountains as, to me, it’s the best season of the year.

Experience History

I’ve collaborated with Alpine Child Care since winter 2018/2019. Winter 2019/2020 and 2008/2009 - Switzerland - I was a ski instructor for children between the age of 5 and 8. I had multicultural groups and I was giving the classes in Italian, English and French. Australian winter 2008 - I was a ski instructor for children between the age of 4 and 6. I had groups that varied from 8 to a max of 14 kids at a time from Sunday to Friday from 9am to 15pm. I babysat several times my friends' kids since they were a few months old.

Monica is a very happy person anyone can rely on. She takes care of my daughter Deva (14 months old) from time to time. Depending on my needs either she stays home and take care of the house while looking after Deva, or she takes her out. Deva loves her very much and that's very important for us.
Monica is very reliable and won't let you donw in any situation. She is excellent in cooking, her specialty is Italian dishes. She is capable of multitasking and takes her own initiative to take care her "clients".
Monica looked after my son Sebastian since he was a couple of months old until his second year. She came over to our place a few times per month and at least once a week when we wanted to have dinner out of if we needed extra help, like getting Seb picked up from nursery school. Monica was just lovely and so capable - my nerves and heart were already shot by a combination of Sidonie (age 6) making daredevil progress on her skis and Tim making me ski slopes which were challenging in the extreme, given the wonderful conditions! It was such a relief not to have to worry that Sidonie was also in good hands after ski school and the extra few hours' grace meant that her father, who is having a tough time atm, both at work and with his elderly mother, could fully enjoy his beloved ski-ing holiday!
