My children have now left home and so myself and my partner have packed everything up to go travelling in our campervan, i did a couple of ski seasons in the French Alps when i was younger and love skiing so i knew a job in the mountains for a few months would be perfect. We have already been to Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. In April we plan to head over to Austria then on to Germany.

Over 25 years as a childcare practitioner including bringing up my own children (20/19/19) my latest childcare role was as a Childminder with two assistants caring for up to 10 children at a time between 6m and 12 years. I have now done two winter seasons one in Morzine and the other in Courchevel working as a holiday nanny for children 3m to 10yrs old, I have met some amazing families and have immensely enjoyed myself seeing the children and their families have their best holidays.

• Kate started looking after my daughter when she was 14 months old as a child minder. My daughter loved going to Kate’s and doing a variety of activities which helped bring on her education. Kate is very patient with all ages children and learns quickly of each child’s behaviour and which way to use to get them on the right track. My daughter was with Kate for 4 years and she still asks now to go to Kate’s. Kate has become a close family friend and up until she went travelling picked my daughter up from school and her now little sister to go on day trips. Kate has helped with birthday parties and all school activities.
• We have just got back from Morzine. We were lucky enough to have Kathryn to look after our 11 month son. Kathryn was great, she punctual and looked after our son well. • We had an absolutely great week with Kathryn in Châtel. She was super accommodating, very friendly, went on some great outings with the kids, and the babies absolutely loved her. • Kathryn was punctual, friendly, professional and made us feel very at ease leaving Florence our daughter with her whilst we went out for the day. Kathryn also communicated perfectly during the day using WhatsApp to keep us up to date which is always a nice reassuring touch. • In January this year (2025), Kathryn was our nanny for a week in La Tania. We are extremely satisfied with her calm, confident and caring attitude. Kathryn was comfortable with both my children; a rambunctious 4 year old boy and a quieter 2 year old girl. She thought about activities they would like, both for them separately and together. She dealt with any issues that arose with the confidence of someone who was clearly used to children. Kathryn also taught whilst playing, helping my 2 year old with words and numbers.
