Hi I am an Australian living in Alpe D’huez with my partner (who is a local French Ski instructor. Back in Australia I work as a ski instructor at Thredbo, with majority of my classes comprising of young kids, and teenagers. Whilst I am not able to work as a ski instructor in France due to differing certification, I am able to continue my work with kids as a ski nanny, and would be comfortable taking the kids under my care for a ski- matched to their current comfort and skill level, or even just a play on the snow. Please note that this would not be a lesson, simply supervised skiing, as I am unable to teach any ski lessons as it is only legal in France to give paid lessons if you have completed the French instructor certification.

I have completed a bachelor in Psychology, as well as Musical performance. With my studies I have gone on to teach singing, acting, and dancing to students of all ages, but in particularly from ages of 2-17. I am a certified level 1 APSI Alpine Ski instructor. I have a valid Australian New South Wales Working with Children Check (happy to provide!) I have completed my NSW first aid course and am certified to provide CPR. I am fluent in English and proficient in French.

I have had over 10 years of babysitting/nannying experiences with a wide range of ages and group sizes. I have worked as a music theatre tutor for over 5 years, as well as a children’s party entertainer- so very well versed with large groups of children. As the oldest of 6 children (with a significant age gap), I’ve grown up caring for younger kids, and am extremely responsible, yet fun! Last season (22/23) I worked as a ski nanny in Alpe D’Huez and I am very comfortable in the village- getting around and knowing the locals. In Australia I work as a ski instructor, primarily with young children and teenagers. I have one-on-one experience caring for children, as well as with large groups.

• Bella looked after Oscar (then 2yrs10mo) in February 2023 for two mornings when we were in Alpe d’Huez. He loved her! She was very patient with him as he’s very clingy, and he didn’t even cry when we left him the second day. They played together in the snow and had a great time. I would definitely recommend her.
• Isabel worked often with children aged 3-6 years at Thredbo ski school over winter. She was able to effectively plan lessons and engage children for extended periods of time in all conditions. Isabel has a happy attitude and was able to problem solve when needed. She was always on time and well presented. Isabel would be an asset to your childcare.
• Isabel was a fantastic nanny! We left our youngest son with her in the morning and he had a great time. She kept him occupied with fun activities and managed him brilliantly as he is not always so easy going. She was also very helpful in the afternoon with our other children and played with them so we could pack in peace! I would not hesitate to leave the children with her again. • Isobel has been great, really good with the kids - they have taken to her straight away. She has thrown herself into everything, helping get the kids ready… helping us get ready! She has sent us messages showing that Henry is doing well (he’s a bit clingy with his mum).
