My name is Ángela, I’m Chilean with a Spanish passport, and I’ve been living in France for six months. My life is deeply connected to nature and mountain sports, especially climbing and mountaineering. I’m passionate about how outdoor activities can teach meaningful values such as confidence, empathy, teamwork, and respect for the environment. I have always felt a strong vocation for education and enjoy creating engaging and meaningful experiences for children. I believe that through play, creativity, and curiosity, children can learn to express themselves, develop confidence, and grow into more conscious and empathetic individuals. I decided to work in childcare this winter because I find great joy in accompanying children in their daily discoveries helping them connect with nature, explore new ideas, and learn through movement and imagination. Im enthusiastic, responsible, and love creating a warm, fun, and safe environment where children can thrive and feel inspired.
My childcare experience began in 2014, when I looked after a 6-year-old boy, mainly in the evenings or for short periods, supporting his mother, who was a single parent at the time. During that period, I created recreational and educational activities that encouraged his creativity, curiosity, and independence. Last year, I cared on several occasions for two children aged 3 and 1½, adapting activities to their ages and individual needs. For the past two years, I have also worked occasionally with another family with two children, now aged 3 and 6. I have mainly cared for Eloísa (since she was 4) and, more recently, for Raimundo (between ages 2 and 3), taking care of their daily routines, playtime, creative activities, and overall well-being. In addition, I worked for a coaching company that hosted school and youth groups. Together with a multidisciplinary team, we organized outdoor experiences and activities focused on leadership, trust, and teamwork. The main goal was to help children develop communication and social skills through games, group dynamics, and challenges in nature. These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, and safety awareness, as well as a deep understanding of the importance of play, creativity, and connection with nature in children’s development.
