I have always loved taking care of children and it has always come naturally for me. At six years old I became an aunt, which has been amazing and very learning! I love babysitting all my 6 nephews and nieces and I've done that since a very young age. That being the case I later on started to babysit my neighbors and other families through a nanny company in Sweden. This gave me great experience with different children and with families I did not know since before. When I graduated high school I started working in a kindergarten for over one year. It was a great period of my life since I've developded as a person. I took it very seriously and I therefore got much responsibility throughout my time there. As for me, I love being creative and to do arts and crafts! That is one of my favorite activities to do with children but I also really enjoy being outdoors. I have always been a serious and responsible person when it comes to work and school, but I like to make it fun by connecting with friends, colleagues and especially the children in my case of work. :)

Intro

Hi! My name is Tyra, I’m a 20-year-old from Sweden who loves spreading positivity, spending time outdoors and playing with children. I have babysat many years and worked in a Kindergarten for over one year.

Qualifications

I am educated in CPR for children of different ages. I have experience with children of all ages as well as large groups of children. I am responsible , reliable, positive, playful and loving. I speak English and Swedish fluently and basic French.

Experience

The ages of the children I have worked with are 1 to 5 years old and therefore I know how all children differ from each other and that all children evolve in their own pace. Things I helped them with was changing diapers, helping them on the toilet, put them to sleep, helping them with their food (cutting, teaching how to use their knifes and making sure they don’t get food in their throats etc.) and of course playing and comforting them.

My References

  • Tyra has worked as a long-term substitute childcare worker with us at Boo Gårds Preschool for about two years. She has grown both as a person and as an educator in her approach toward the children and her colleagues. By working alongside experienced preschool teachers, Tyra has embraced low‑arousal approaches and gained an understanding of how professional life functions. I believe she could become a wonderful preschool teacher if she wishes to remain in the field when she returns home to Sweden. I am convinced that she will take on the role of Nanny with joy and enthusiasm, inspiring the children to play—even out on the ski slopes. Kind regards, Malin Enström Team Manager Boo Gårds Preschool
