Hello Families! I am a 20 year old Australian, I have worked in childcare for almost 2 years and have grown a love for working with children and creating new relationships with children. I love supporting children's play based learning and supporting their individual wants and needs. I have always had a love for children and can't wait to create new bonds in Val d'Isere. I am coming to Val d'Isere this season as I have never snowboarded/ski'd before and would love to learn a new skill and imbed myself in the culture it has to offer. I am often active and hope this will be a new hobby I can pursue.

I have completed a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education which has given me the tools to; recognise and respond to children individual needs, provide daily care routines: feeding, changing nappies, toileting, sleep/rest, ensure childrens safety and hygiene, comply with legal and ethical responsibilities (e.g. child protection laws, WHS), support inclusive practices and build positive relationships with children using clear and respectful communication to encourage their confidence and independence. I have also completed my First aid certificate (valid until 13/11/2027), my anaphylaxis training (valid until 6/2/2027), asthma training (valid until 13/11/2027), CPR training (valid until 13/11/2027), Food Safe check (valid until 15/2/2027) and have an active Working With children check (valid until 31/1/2027).

I have almost 2 years experience working in an early learning centre (ages 6 months-6 years), during this time I have worked in a room with toddler for a year (ages 1 to 2) and worked in a room with 3 year olds for a year (young kindergarten room). I have done a 5 week practical assessment in the babies room which was such a rewarding experience as I got the learn about babies cues, how to support their needs and wants and how to support their routine; feeding, changing and rest time. Before my two year working in a childcare setting (from 2023-2025) I had some casual jobs in nannying as well. the more permanent job was for 6 months in 2022 looking after a boy aged 4 and a girl aged 2. During this time looking after the family we would often do activities together eg, going to the zoo, going to the beach, going to the park or just going for walks together. This time with the family allowed me to build a strong relationships with the children where the children could be excited to see me and spend time with me.
