I absolutely love children, they fascinate and surprise me each and every day. They still enjoy life and are still surprised and excited by the little things. That's why I radically changed my career, I needed to do what my heart told me to do. I ve more than 10 years of experience now and am still as excited as when I started working with kids. I love to take them outdoors, let them be themselves, be as active as possible, kids these days have to sit still from such a young age, I always try to see what they need and drag them outside and give them the time of their live. Explore. We teach each other, I learn everyday. My hobbies are : Cycling, surfing, reading, snowboarding, movies, hiking, traveling, cooking. I d like to work in child care this winter because my boyfriend is a ski instructor at Oxygene ski and snowboard school since ages and I ve been working in La Plagne for 3 years, then some years in Belgium and it would be nice to work in La Plagne again so I can be a little less far from my boyfriend at the same time :)

2012 - 2013 : Education responsable at the daycare Complete career switch, studied marketing, worked in marketing and then I realized my heart layed elsewhere. Kids it is ! So I obtained my diploma and have been working since 2013 with kids. Of course Im up to date with the first aid training. I speak : English, French, Spaning, Dutch (mother tongue) and German

Started babysitting at the age of 16. In 2013 I started working at a daycare with a capacity of 70 kids in the age of 2.5 - 12. During summer holidays full time. We do all sorts of stuff. Planned and lead the special activities of the children during summer holiday. Children in the age of 2.5 - 12 years old. Sports, cooking, gardening, or simply : fun stuff in general. Worked for 3 years for Oxygene ski and snowboard school in Plagne Centre. I arranged Lunch club and assisted the skiclasses for the absolute beginner kids. I helped out the ski instructor. Since 2 years I work at a creche during winter season, in Belgium, so now I ve the experience to work with 0 - 3 years old as well.

• Dominique is a very energetic and fun childcare worker. She always comes in with a smile and makes sure every child has a fun day. I never see her sit down, she really comes to work. I can also really rely on her. Last week somebody was sick, and Dominique was flexible enough to take over her shift and close the crèche, without any sigh for example. Even though she works temporarily a couple times a year with us, she has a very good bond with everybody. The team is always enthusiastic when I say Dominique will come back. I find that she communicates well with the colleagues and is assertive. She takes initiative to divide tasks and talk about the day structure for example. When something happens that isn’t so nice or that isn’t really the intention, she approaches the right colleague and talks about it without drama. I can only recommend Dominique!
• Dominique is a lovely and playful woman who interacts well with children of different ages. She has no issues with very young children and knows how to engage older primary school children as well. She has a lot of experience in childcare with both young and older children. A few times a year, she comes to work for a certain period in our care. The team is always happy when she comes, and the children also look forward to Dominique returning to play with them. Dominique communicates well and clearly with both adults and children. It is enjoyable to work with her.
