I currently live in France and love being here in the mountains. Skiing is my passion and I have over 30 years experience on the slopes including 15 years in this area. I often ski with families as i know the resorts well. I have taken a break from OT work in the uk and am pursuing my love of being in the mountains and working with children. When I'm not skiing or playing with children I can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen! I am also a keen traveller and have lived and travelled all of my life in South and North America, Asia and Europe. I am currently working part time as an English trainer working in the medical devices industry providing tailor made English courses to adults. I love the outdoors and working with children and I am committed to a safe and fun holiday where they can learn, do new things and have some great memeories to take home. I am totally confident they will be in safe hands.

Extensive childcare experience both for children with physical and special educational needs including three years looking after a colleagues foster daughter with complex behavioural difficulties. Childcare in the alps over the last six years looking after children and babies from 8 weeks old upwards. Live in nanny and housekeeper for a year (2013-2014) for a family with a 3-4 year old little boy including overnights, meal prepartion, bath time etc and activities such as swimming and skiing. Looking after groups of 2 to 5 children on holiday including parties of up to 13 children. I currently have 4 4 long term clients here in France with 2-4 children each who I care for three to four weeks each year summer and winter. I also have repeat clients who come back to me each year, so do book early to avoid dissapointment! My role is very flexible and I work according to families needs. I can arrive in time to help with getting dressed and having breakfast, geting ready and taking to ski school or starting morning play activities. Depending on your children's age, we can go out on arranged activites ie soft play, the park, sledging, swimming outdoor play or indoor play. I prepare lunch and get ready for afternoon activites depending on age ie with older children I often ski for the afternoon or take smaller children up to see parents on the slopes for a hot chocolate. I have my own transport and am insured to drive other vehicles so often take children down to pirate soft play in Grenoble or on trips down to the park and shops of Bourg d'Oisans.
