Intro

Qualifications

I have a CACHE level 3 diploma in childcare and education. I have over ten years of childcare experience, which includes working as a nanny and completing a couple of ski seasons in Courchevel working for Mark Warner in the hotel crèche. I have also completed a first aid course and have had a DBS (CRB) check. I have a clean driving licence and have my own car.

Experience

My first nanny job I was in sole charge of two children age 2 and 6, I was with them for two years. I then went on to complete two winter seasons with Mark Warner where I looked after children ranging in ages from 3 months to 12 years, sometimes looking after up to 8 children on my own. I moved to north Wales and found a sole charge nanny job with a lovely family who had three children aged 2, 4 and 6. I stayed with them for three years until the youngest started school. After travelling the world for over a year, my husband and I have made our dream move to the alps and I have worked for a couple of families throughout the summers as well as helping lots of families get the most out of their holidays for the last five winters.

I have known Jaye Robertson for 3 years, she has been of great assistance on our family holidays to the alps, helping out with the children. She first looked after my son when he was one, I went on to have another baby, Claudia, who she looked after for the first time when she was just 3 months old. Jaye is very responsible and I am more than happy to leave her with both my children with minimal instruction, she is very capable of taking care of them. She can use initiative with the younger one who obviously doesn’t speak yet. She is very interactive with the older one, playing games, reading stories, and doing arts and crafts.   • Jaye has been working for us as a holiday nanny since December 2015, when our little girl, Maisie, was just 3 months old. She is now two. We have a second home near La Rosiere, and holiday there for about 2-3 months each year over Christmas, Easter and the summer generally. Jaye is an invaluable part of our family during these times looking after our daughter and also our cocker spaniel dog. We have found her to be a highly dependable, trustworthy and experienced nanny and she is incredibly loving and caring towards Maisie. Maisie had hip dysplasia as a newborn and was in a pavlik harness from the age of 2-5 months, so Jaye had to deal with the difficulties this brought in feeding and changing nappies, and she was excellent at adapting Maisie’s care accordingly. She ensures a relaxed and fun environment for our daughter to thrive in and is always coming up with new ways to keep her entertained if it’s a snowy day and they’re stuck in the house or out on daily summer activities.
