Hello! My name is Umi and I am 23 years old. I am excited to be applying for a childcare role this winter. I hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as a Bachelor of Justice, a Certificate III in Business, and a High School Diploma. I have almost three years of experience working in a Montessori childcare centre, where I supported children’s learning and development from 10 weeks to 6 years of age. Alongside this, I have experience nannying, including caring for a family with three children aged 4, 7, and 8 for over a year. During my time in childcare, I also provided occasional babysitting for families outside of work, many of whom have remained in contact with me. I am trained in First Aid, CPR, and Food Safety, and I have completed additional training in Child Protection, Montessori methods, and Child Development. Outside of work, I enjoy playing netball, swimming, hanging out with my family and friends, reading, and crochetin. I am passionate about working with children because I love supporting their growth, learning, and happiness in a safe and nurturing environment. I am looking forward to bringing my experience, skills, and enthusiasm to your family.

I was nannying for a family with 3 kids aged 4,7 & 8 for just over a year before I got a job in a daycare full-time. In the daycare I worked with children aged from 10 weeks to 6 years. While working in the childcare I also babysat some of the children outside of work. The families from the daycare have still kept in contact with me since coming overseas.
