My name is Maja Dolk and I’m 20 years old from Stockholm, Sweden. I graduated from high school 2 years ago and after that I’ve moved to Barcelona. I’ve moved to Barcelona with a friend to work here and try out living abroad. In Barcelona I’ve been working in a Swedish telemarking company . I’m moving to Chamonix with a friend from Sweden in the beginning of January to go ski, work and have a good time. I’m a very social, open and happy person. On my free time I like to talk with my family home in Sweden, workout, hand out with friends but I think the primary thing in Chamonix will be to go out and ski! I began to work with children when I was 12 years old. At that time I worked at a children’s riding camp and helped out taking care of the children and coming up with different games and so on. This was my first ever job and I worked with that for a full summer. After that I started to work as a nanny for different families. In total I’ve been working as a nanny for five different families during a time of five years. Some families I just helped out when they were going out and some I had a weekly schedule with. I’ve been working with children from the age 1 to the age of 8. Some families I had two children in four families and one in the last family. Some children I just helped pick up from school and kindergarten I were with them a couple of hours before the parents came home, but sometimes I’d also helped the during last nights or all night. I have a lot of experience being with kids, helping them to the bathroom, brushing there teeth’s and putting them to bed and generally just be there for them and have fun with them! Although I’ve only worked with Swedish families I don’t see it would be a problem working with children from other countries since I would say I also almost speak fluent English. I’m one parents can trust!

I graduated from secondary school two years ago after studying economics. I’ve been privately hired by different families in Sweden and worked for five families in total . I have done a first aid training and also practiced at a kindergarten. My first ever work was at a riding camp taking care of the children in between there riding classes. I have a lot of experience working with children in different ages.

In total I have been a private hired nanny for five families. The children were between the age 1 and 8 years at the time. The first families I babysat to I had both girls and both in younger ages and the maximum number of children I’ve watched over at a time is 2. But I have experience picking them up from kindergarten and the it always was two children from two different departments. Some of them I had e regular schedule with combined with the parents schedule so I could pick them up once or twice a week and sometimes they also needed help during late nights or full nights and then I would sleep over with the children. So I have experience taking care of children for 24h and both two at the same time and one at the time. Other children experience then that my first job was at a riding camp so then I also helped the children during breaks to play games and go to the bathroom, call their parents if needed and so on. And I’ve also practiced at a kindergarten and helped them take care of the children in general.

• She is really an lovely person and we couldn't have had a better baby-sitter to our daughters. Let me share my experiences from working with her and please share it with other parents who are looking for help. I’m a mother of two girls, Hermine and Sibylla. When Maja took care of them they were 1 and 3 years old and she helped us for around two years. We had a weekly schedule for the kids and Maja was 2 days a week with us. She picked up the kids at the kindergarden and took them home, played with them, changed diapers, took the old one to the toilet, showered them, gave them dinner and took them to bed on time. The girls loved Maja and they were always very happy to be with her. She came up with fun activities and games for the girls but also very caring if they crying or sad for some reason. Even though we were always available for her if she needed something or had any questions, Maja was actually really good and handling everything by herself, which was very helpful in our case. She was also available when we needed her on late evenings if we were going out for a dinner or had evening planes and whenever we came home everything was nicely fixed and the girls were in their room sleeping. • I have been Maja's Sales Manager for the past 8 months at Nordic Gaming Group in Barcelona. Maja worked in telemarketing with us and has left to pursue the mountains in Chamonix.
