Hi, I have worked in ski resorts on and off for years now with VIP ski and I have lived in Val d'isère for a year now workimg as a nanny housekeeper for a French family, so I know the resort well and know all the good places to keep children busy and amused as well as safe in the unpredictable environment of the alps. Although I enjoy skiing I am not confident in taking children out with me, but more than happy to take them to and from ski school, get lunch sorted and keep them busy and having fun until parents return. I've worked with children from 4 months to 13 years, and had sole care of up to 5 older children. I'm happy with bottle feeding and weaning young babies and having fun with older kids too.

• Kir was a great nanny. She was good with my son who was just 4 at the time. She was firm, but fair. She encouraged him to try new food and new things and my son enjoyed playing with her. She was an excellent cook, immaculately clean and tidy. Kir did all the driving for me while I couldn't drive and was a safe and confident driver. I would have kept her on if I could have!
