I have held several long-term nanny positions over the past decade, caring for up to 2 children at a time. Children were ages 18 months to 10. Duties included keeping children entertained with activities and excursions to places like the park, museum or art gallery, making and serving healthy snacks and meals, light household cleaning, first aid if necessary, assisting with homework and bath time and bed time routines. I worked in Outside of Hours School Care for 3 years, including as Director of a childcare service in 2023. In this role, I, along with my team of staff, cared for up to 80 children at a time. These children were aged between 5 and 12. As Director, I was also responsible for planning and organising activities, excursions and healthy meals, liaising with parents, and ensuring the service met the National Quality Standard. In 2023, I worked as an Environmental Educator at a community farm and environmental centre. Here, I led groups of approximately 20 students through various activities centred around sustainability.
