Hello I'm Amy. I have worked with children from the age of 14 where I volunteered in Rainbows (girl guiding). Working with children is a passion of mine. I love to make them smile and give them experiences/memories they will always remember. I am very artistic and love to get creative. I love walking and discovering new things. I have decided to work in child care this winter to gain new experiences and grow on my skills. I want to be able to keep my passion alive and see children grow and learn.

I have an SVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I received this whilst doing an apprenticeship in an nursery in scotland. I have done First Aid training with the nursery and also with Girl Guiding.

I worked in a nursery for 19 months looking after children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. As a trainee and qualified member of staff I could look after from 1-8 children at any one time. (going on age ratio e.g. 1:4 2 year olds) I am also a qualified Girl Guide Leader. I volunteered and worked with Rainbows aged 5-7yrs, I looked after up to 15 children. I also worked with Brownies aged 7-10yrs, I looked after up to 30 children. I cared for my brother from when he was born until the age of 1. I was a Nanny to three children ages birth, 3 and 5 for 2 years. Currently I am an Au Pair to two children ages 6 and 9yrs.
