I have decided to work in child care this winter because I have always worked well with children and would love to spend more time doing so! I have spent a total of four months living and caring for children in the USA during the past two summers and I have years of babysitting experience. I am very active, I love dancing and playing hockey and am an advanced skier. I am a very family driven person as have grown up with two younger siblings and we skied together annually during our childhoods, which is why I would love to work with children in a ski resort. I have graduated from a BA (HONS) International Relations and Politics Degree with a 2:1. I have a kind and considerate personality and have a fun-loving sense of humour. I am good at organising both myself and others and am extremely good at communicating with other people. Finally, I can show enthusiasm whilst maintaining a calm demeanour around children and regard myself as an extremely responsible, reliable and patient person. My previous job roles include working as a Sales Assistant for an independent clothes boutique, a Student Brand Ambassador for Bumble before being promoted to Head Student Ambassador for Bumble in Sheffield, five years as a waitress and two summers working as a Head Counsellor at Pierce Camp Birchmont in New Hampshire, where I cared for and lived with large groups of teenagers. I absolutely loved my time in the USA, the skills it gave me were invaluable, thus I'd love to put them to further use working in alpine child care. I have also had additional work experience at a political think tank, working as an English tutor and as a volunteer classroom assistant, both for children between the ages of 8-10.
