I am a 31 year old teacher from Northern Ireland on a career break to pursue my interests in climbing, snowboarding and natural geography. I also have family who live in the Chamonix Valley.

I am a qualified Teacher from Northern Ireland with a first class honours Bachelor of Education degree. I have taught in a secondary school for 7 years mainly in the Technology and Design Department and the Geography Department, but I've also taught Physics and Games. While I was training to become a teacher I worked in the Outdoor Industry as a seasonal outdoor pursuits instructor and a part-time Climbing Coach. Both of these jobs included taking groups of adults and children.

Through school I have cared for class sizes with up to 30 children, ages ranging from 11-18. My climbing instruction was children between the ages of 8-16, in groups of 6. Since being in the valley I have Nannied for a 2 year old.

• Anja has looked after my 2 year old daughter on a number of occasions and I would highly recommend her to other parents. My daughter felt immediately at ease, Anja played really well with her and she just got on and sorted things like lunch easily. With her teaching background I felt very safe leaving my daughter with her as she has the experience and is really easy to get on with.
