Experience & Qualifications

I love sports and I love snow, and I love to share my passion for winter sports with others. Accompanying children to the snow has always been one of my favorite things while I was working at the school.
I imagine that most families will be used to having female nannies, but I can assure you I can be just as loving and caring as you can expect, but also with a very strong educational and didactic side.

I received my teaching degree in Physical Education at High Point University, in the US. Other courses or diplomas: First aid, food handling, Jolly Phonics...
I can also speak Spanish, which is my native language.

I have worked for the past 7 years as a teacher at a British School in Spain, with children between 3 and 14 years old.
During this time, I was in charge (among many other things) of organizing the annual ski trip of the school, including travelling with the children and being with them at all times: hotel, lunchtime, on the slopes...

My References

Reference Received from: Leigh Tullier

"Adrian is a committed professional who is very organised and reliable. His manner with the children is firm but fair and as a consequence he forms excellent relationships with them. He is very clear in his expectations and this, combined with praise, has a positive effect on the children in his care. He works hard to ensure children progress well, attain highly and enjoy the process of learning.

Adrian has planned, prepared, taught and assessed physical education for children aged 4 - 16 and has experience of every year group. I knew him for three years in my capacity as key stage 2 coordinator and I would highly recommend him - without question he is a committed, honest and hard-working professional.

"Adrian has a professional approach with all children and staff, he follows guidelines and policies but at the same time uses common sense. Whilst working for me at O Castro International school, he wanted to do his best to improve himself and the school, he was always willing to organise events, share idea and experience and try new initiatives. He is very punctual and attendance was excellent! Adrian is fluent in English and I would most definitely employ him again and recommend him for work involving children and leadership roles.
