Tignes shares the grance Espace Killy ski area with Val D’isere and they have 300km of pistes between them. It has pistes suitable for all abilities and is great for families. The resorts are very different in character with Val having a quaint old centre and Tignes being pretty much purpose built. Tignes has 5 Villages - Val Claret, Tignes le Lac, Le Lavachet, Tignes Les Boisses and Tignes Les Brevieres.
A highlight for the kids if they tire of skiing is the Lagon Centre which has a 25 metre swimming pool and water slides, will definitely keep the little ones occupied for an afternoon.
There is also alot of choice of things to do when the sun goes down - some great nightclubs, restaurants, bars and many family friendly eateries. There's also a cinema and library if you fancy some quiet time.
